Superstar Rajinikanth starrer film ‘2.0’, Makers has said that film has earned over 400 crore rupees in his opening weekend at the box office. The sequel of director Shankar’s 2010 blockbuster film ‘Anthryan’ is produced by 2.0 ‘Lyca Productions’. It was released on 20th November in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This production was told in an official poster that the film has earned 400 million rupees. In ‘2.0’, Rajinikanth is in three different incarnations.
In the film, stars such as Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey are also in the lead roles. This is Akshay’s first film in South and he is in the role of villain, who has made a budget of Rs 600 crore. In the film, Rajinikanth is in the role of a scientist and a robot.
On the trailer launch of the film, Shankar had told about Rajinikanth’s commitments. Shankar had said, “When we were ready to go to the climax of the film at a stadium in Delhi, only then Rajni Sir became ill. Its preparation was going on for 6 months, which was to be completed in 40 days. He came to shoot with us even after his health worsened. We shoot at extreme temperatures. Rajni Sir had to wear a robotic suit of 12 kg. We were surprised by their commitments.
