Bar Council of India Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra have decided to meet judges of Supreme Court tomorrow and also welcomed the government’s non-interference into the matter and it called for internally resolving the issue which was raised by the SC judges.
BCI Chairman said, “Prime Minister and law minister had said yesterday itself that it is judiciary’s internal matter and govt won’t be interfering in the matter, and we appreciate the government’s stand.”
The member of the BCI discussed the letter written by the four judges. While the it also formed 7 member delegation who will meet judges tomorrow.
The members of BCI have criticised Congress without naming and said that the political party should not politicise the matter.
Manan Mishra also said that the Council ready to mediate the judiciary crisis.
“As far as MOP is concerned, it must be finalised at the earliest in a proper manner. We will write a letter to the govt for the same but is not that big a matter to be brought in public,” said BCI chairman.
