Patan: The Chief Minister of the state Vijay Rupani on Thursday visited the flood-affected taluka, villages of Patan district. CM Rupani assured all the flood victims that they would be paid cash doles of ten-days at a stroke.
On the 5th day of his touring the CM visited Pedashpur village of Radhanpur taluka of Patan district and share woes and sorrow of the villagers.
Besides cash-doles, the flood victims would also be compensated as per the government’s norms on the priority basis for the home-utensils, damages to the crops and animals, and erosion of lands, the CM said.
CM Rupani said that:”This was the worst flood affected area and facing of such situation with cooperation and brevity by the villagers was remarkable.”
Rupani also visited Jaswantpura village and interacted with the villagers & personally reviewed the post-flood situation.
Praising, CM Rupani, Health Minister Shankarbhai Chaudhary said, “Standing among the local villagers in this difficult time, the CM has shown his sensitivity as a common man.
Chaudhary also said that an arrangement of the helicopter services for rescuing the trapped people in 12-places of Banaskantha and Patan districts has been made.
