The police complaint has been filed at Vishnagar Police Station against
Patidars about the violent protest during the election campaign meeting by the
freshly elected BJP MLA Rishikesh Patel.
The complaint was filed against the
crowd of about 100 local people who violently opposed in presence of Purshottam
Rupala during the election campaign meeting. As the police complaint was filed
the politics at Vishnagar flurried up.

10 days from the occurrence of the incident against the violent protest during
his election campaign meeting where senior BJP leader Purshottam Rupala was
also present. On 10th December BJP held a campaign meeting at Vishnagar Station
area, in which, senior BJP leader Purshottam Rupala was also present. While the
senior leader approached the dais, a crowd of about 100 people including women
protested by beating plates with rolling pin.
The BJP activist suffered head
injuries when someone from the crowd of protesters threw the stone on them.
Hence, following the incident, the police complaint has been filed against the
crowd of about 100 people including women for forming an illegal group and
protesting violently. Vishnagar PSI Y.M.Pathan informed that police
investigation has been initiated as per the complaint filed.
