Narmada: District Tuberculosis Centre will conduct survey across 177 villages of the Narmada districts. The purpose of the survey would be if any TB patients detected, they will cured by the Mobile Van immediately.
The step taken by the central government under the pilot project to detect TB patients and cure them by going one district after another. The survey will take place in Narmada, Tapi, Dahod and Dang district.
Some people living in remote areas of Gujarat are currently unaware of TB disease, whereas some people do not diagnose because of fear. So that the Central Government is looking for such patients for TB in Narmada, Tapi, Dahod and Dang districts of Gujarat. The government decided to launch a mobile TB diagnosis van as a pilot project. One of them is located in Narmada district.
Narmada district TB officer Dr. Arya said that mobile TB van is equipped with all diagnosis forensic laboratory testing is available.
Minister of State for Forest and Tribal Shabdsharan Tadvi, Collector R S Ninama, DDO Dr Ranjit Kumar, DTO Dr Arya D Kothari, Dr Sangita Parikh, along Tuberculosis staffs were present while flagging off the van.
