Dwarka: It will be for the first time after the establishment of Gujarat state, two main candidates from the Dwarka will bump in Gujarat election. 13 elections have taken place since 1960, but since then two sitting candidates have never fought at the same time. But this time when the list of the candidates has been announced we are going to witness the high profile clash in this election.
Dwarka is now under the guardianship of BJP’s Pabubha Manek. While Meraman Goriya from Congress party is a sitting candidate of Jamkhambhadiya. In this 14th assembly election, two sitting candidates will have a fight of popularity.
This battle will be interesting because of the popularity of the both. Both candidates have an altogether different image and are very popular in their respective communities. It is notable that Pabubha Manek has been elected since last 6 terms. He has started his journey with his first win against D.L.Parmar.

Prior to the meeting, there was a news of Vikram Maadam getting the ticket of the Dwarka Seat.Later to attract the Ahir voters, the ticket was given to Meraman Goriya.It is notable that Pabubhai has been dominating Dwarka –Kalyanpura constituency since last 6 terms.
