Banaskantha: With the heavy rains lashing out all over the state, many districts have been affected especially North Gujarat including Banaskantha and Patan.

To ensure the health of people in these flood-affected areas and to rejuvenate the life of these people, the state government has ordered its high officials for the cleanliness campaign in the flood-affected areas.

For the cleanliness in rural districts of the flood affected areas, Valsad’s DDO Gaurang Makwana has been assigned with the special responsibility of looking after the work.

Whereas, for the cleanliness campaign in Banaskantha’s Dhanera, a team of 250 workers of Surat Municipal Corporation will be sent to carry out the cleanliness work with the variety of equipment for one week in Dhanera.

It is noteworthy that the state government has given priority to clean campaigns in flood affected areas of North Gujarat. For the last four days, the state government along with voluntary organizations are also giving extensive support for cleanliness.
