The Supreme Court was extremely angry and strict in the hearing of sealing campaign running in the country’s capital Delhi. And it has also been tough on this matter. While hearing a petition related to the sealing and sabotage operations of the business establishments in Delhi’s Khan Market, Justice Madan B Lokur asked the government lawyer, whether there is a separate law for rich and poor?
On this question of Justice Lokur, the Additional Solicitor General said that the law is the same for all. After this Justice Lokur said that the law is the same, its interpretation is different. The Supreme Court said that unauthorized construction and encroachment on public land in Delhi is a very serious problem.
Saying this, the apex court asked STF to act quickly against all of them. STF also told the Supreme Court that it has received about 7,000 complaints, out of which 3 thousand complaints have been processed.
